Processing Locality Registrations – Early Pre-registration
As the locality submit their registrations via their registration spreadsheets, we need to confirm them and copy them over to our registration master.
Why don’t we automate this? We need to do a series of checks and other things to the registration and these things are easier to do before the data is copied to the master.
After the data is copied to the master, certain things need to be entered into the master in order to activate the accounting for the locality.
Overview of the processing steps:
- Check locality submissions for completeness; follow up with localities for missing information.
- Copy information to registration master.
- Add financial information to each attendee as well as to the locality.
- Send registration confirmation email to locality with add/cancel/change form.
- Update step by step.
These steps should be done starting on Tuesday immediately following the first registration deadline before Thursday the same week.
